The construction industry encompasses many activities which includes operating a non-slewing crane. The non-slewing crane course provides all the knowledge and skills necessary to satisfy the requirements of the qualification – TLILIC0040 – Licence to operate a non-slewing crane

Pre requisite: Licence to Perform Dogging, 18 years of age.

Duration: 4 days

PLEASE NOTE: Learning Materials for all courses can be accessed via an Online Portal, be emailed to you or via post at a cost of $20.

  • Duration: 4 days (8 hours per day):
    • Days 1-2: Unit of Competency Training and Assessment
    • Days 3-4: High Risk Work Licence Assessment
  • Pre- learning: All students will be required to undertake pre-course reading and activities to ensure an understanding of some learning content that will be reviewed in the student contact time.
    Students should allocate approximately 16 hours to read over the pre-course reading.
  • Minimum age required to undertake the course: 18 years
  • Students must undertake a Language, Literacy and Numeracy test prior to enrolment.  To gain entry into this course, student must have been determined as having the appropriate LLN capability.
